FAVE! Top Ellen Interview

I have watched a lot of episodes of the Ellen Degeneres Show and I just like how quirky and fun the interviews go. What I really appreciate about Ellen's show is how natural her conversation with her guests flow. The interview doesn't feel forced or doesn't feel very talk showy, it is just a simple fun talk between two friends basically. There are a lot of honest good stories that will make feel like you know these people.

Ellen has interviewed a number of actors and actresses but still there are the ones that stand out. Here’s my top three memorable interviews by Ellen Degeneres.

Liam Neeson
I just love his charming "thanks ellen” remark during his interview with Ellen. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors of all time. Despite his age he is still able to exude sexiness that can be at par with Robert Redford and even Brad Pitt. I love the fact that Liam Neeson can lure you with his voice alone, he is the voice of Azlan in Narnia. And of course beyond that sexy voice is his great acting skill that kills. Love him in Schindler’s List, Batman Begins, Unknown and Taken! Click here for the video.

Types of Posers

As I go around my Facebook page I stumble upon a good number of what many people may call as Posers. You’ll see them posting a lot of selfies and stereotypical stuff. But before I go on, let us first identify what is a Poser? A poser is someone who likes a certain typecast and wants to be seen as that. A poser is primarily someone who is trying to be something they’re not. Example, for quiet sometime being EMO was the “in” thing, people were wearing full black ensemble, deep eyeliners, listening to angst centric music and a lot of black paraphernalia. With this trend, people tried their hands on this EMO thing even though they didn’t really like the music and the style. The primary reason why these posers got the “EMOfied” look was because they want to get people’s attention and they want to present themselves as perhaps “cool.”

This defecation on social media is happening much more than you think, so I am listing here My Top 4 Types of Posers.

This poser stereotype is usually practiced by teenagers and young adults. They often prance around wearing full on black ensemble, anime looking hair and eyeliners to boot. They present themselves as majorly depress and emotionally unstable. They often post very dramatic “alone in the rain crying” photos in shades of black, white and gray. They want people to pity them and at the same time view them as cool kids who are not ashamed of showing his/her “dark” emotions.

What Are Hashtags For?

What are Hashtags?

Do you know what this # means? For 20 plus years of existence I have known this as a number sign but as our society and technology progress it has evolved into a new lingo known as a Hashtag. What is a Hashtag? This is (#) the symbol of a Hashtag, it is usually followed by a word or a phrase that contains one’s thought. These Hashtagged short messages are usually found in microblogging social media sites such as Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Google plus and even Facebook. These Hashtags act as keyword tool that groups certain messages together.

Are you liking your own post?

5 Reasons Why You Should Not Like Your Own Facebook Status.

1. It is redundant.

The mere fact that you wrote the status says a lot about your stance regarding the topic. And liking that status is just unnecessary. Liking it does not really add any information for the readers. There is no justification for this, content wise because liking your own post at the end of the day is just plain redundant.

Let's turn the table (May)

Internet trolling is a common cynical act done by people who loves to bombard random internet users with their know it all stance and argumentative behaviour, that type of behaviour can often cause people frustration and anger that actually veers them away from the topic at hand. Despite these trolls know it all approach on things they often still lack the basic knowledge on proper English, these trolls often torment people with their misspelled, misused and abused words. And because of the prevalence of this on Youtube I decided to create a monthly list of these Youtube comments. Here are some:

This is lazy people’s way of writing the word “what”

Catfish/Fake

In this day and age, communication is just a dial away. Unlike before, a long distance relationship may hit its bottom because of the lack of communication. But now with the advent of voice over application such as Skype, Uber Conference, Vsee and OOVOO we can instantly communicate with our loved ones from anywhere in the world. And the world of dating as we know it will never be the same.

But not all relationship starts in a meet-cute kinda way. Dating these days doesn't always start with the usual conventional hi/hello. With all these social networking sites people are getting together faster and easier. Just open an account, put a picture, edit your bio, add your friends and you’re done. Dating has stepped in to a new platform since. Dating now doesn't require the same commitment as it used to. Now, people tend to have a looser sense of obligation to their partner. A bouquet of flowers may be given online and a virtual birthday card can suffice as a gift. I guess one of the downside of online dating is, it is too lax. That is why there is greater risk of deception now when it comes to dating online.

E-Libing (E-Burial)

These days working abroad is more pliable for people because of the booming ease of communication. All you need to do is set up a good internet connection, a basic personal computer, a web camera and in five minutes you’ll be connected to your loved ones back home. And there are a lot of voice over software applications that you can choose nowadays. But these are not only limited to connecting with your living loved ones.

Have you heard of E-Libing?

We are all aware that some of these overseas workers are unable to fly home because of their work commitment. It used to be an issue for them because they weren't able to pay respect to their departed loved one because of their distance. But now, there is an available online service that will connect them with their departed loved ones back home. This online service addresses this issue of distance by providing them with a new online video service.  This contemporary service will help families financially by instantly connecting them despite their distance. This online service is called E-Libing/E-Burial. What is E-Libing? E-Libing/E-Burial is an online service offered by a chapel to overseas contract workers where they can view live videos of the interment of their departed loved ones. They may access it through the internet anywhere in the world.

What are Podcasts?

We used to regret missing our favourite radio program but now we have the means to listen to it whenever we want to. This is through a medium called Podcast. A podcast is a digital media wherein you can listen and enjoy episodes of your favourite radio show by means of subscribing to them or downloading these episodes directly to your computer, smartphone or portable media player. This is very ideal for people who are always on the go because they’ll be able to access locally stored files even offline.

Selfies, hot or not?

A Selfie or a self portrait photograph is now the new social media term to present one’s vanity. This entails a lot of quality time with the handy dandy camera. This is very much applicable to both men and women alike. So what are Selfies? These are pictures (a lot of pictures) taken of oneself while capturing every angle while holding the camera at arm’s length. This act is usually carried out by girls, however men tend to do this aswell they’re just focusing mainly on their muscle tone.

To give a better breakdown here are some of the most common Selfies you’ll find on Facebook and other social media sites

WILDCARD! Baking Soda Remedies

What is Baking Soda?

Baking Soda is also known as Sodium Bicarbonate, it is an alkaline tasting fine powder often used for culinary goods such as muffins, cakes, cookies and doughnuts. We all know that it is normally used for baking however, we should not entirely limit Baking Soda with sweets and food alone. Now is the perfect time to see the other usage of this compound outside of its food comfort zone.

Here are my Top 3 uses of Baking Soda (Health wise)

In this day and age, we all have this medical notion of taking a pill or two for every ache that we feel. And I for one am not an exception. Once I
experience a painful sensation, stomach cramps, headaches and the likes, my initial thought was to visit my good old medical doctor and immediately take the meds that they’ll give me. But then, the Alopecia Areata thing happened to me and there was no pharmaceutical meds for that. It was such debilitating issue for me, so I told myself to give the herbal meds a try. I did and it worked wonders for such an illness. With that mindset, I started to root for some effective alternative medicine.
