WILDCARD! Home Remedies for Dandruff

Stop Scratching that Dandruff
Besides the fact that it will greatly wound your scalp, you are merely dispersing your dandruff to your shoulders, sleeves and basically all over your head if you continue scratching them. If you break the skin on your scalp, it will even get irritated with medicated shampoo and can even cause hair fall.

Wash your hair regularly with mild shampoo.
I would recommend that you wash your hair everyday with a dandruff shampoo until you feel that the flaking of the scalp skin subsides. However, be wary that excessive shampooing can really dry out a scalp, and might even cause more dandruff.

Brush your hair after you shower and shampoo.
After showering, it is advisable that you brush your hair so as to properly distribute the natural oil to different areas of the head. Make sure that you are able to cover the whole surface of the head, it is also good for blood circulation.

Apple Cider Vinegar Wash
This home remedy is said to work because Apple Cider Vinegar works to fight off fungus that resides or causes dandruff. You will just mix the apple cider vinegar with water. Then use that concoction to wash your hair just like a regular shampoo. Leave it on for about ten minutes, then just rinse with water.

Moisturize your scalp with Baby Oil, Coconut Oil or Tea Tree Oil
Simply apply a baby oil, coconut oil or tea tree oil onto your scalp. Make sure your hair is completely dry and then massage the scalp with the oil you prefer. Let it sit for ten minutes then wash with a good anti-dandruff shampoo.

Lemon juice massage Wash
This lemon juice home remedy will actually help remove hair stickiness and will also help prevent dandruff. What you would need to do is to simply massage a natural home made lemon juice (without sugar) on your scalp before going for a shower. Let it sit for about fifteen minutes then wash it thoroughly with a good anti-dandruff shampoo.
