WILDCARD! Home Remedy for Migraine

Migraine is a common issue for adults these days, it may be because of the hectic routine schedule, emotional stress or the dreadful deadlines at work that can trigger this illness. Whatever the cause may be, this often times unbearable headache can really hinder one’s performance and schedule. I myself have experienced a number of distressing migraines in the past year so I was very much willing to experiment on a number of home made remedies that can really ease the pain of migraine naturally.

Here is the list:

Get yourself some sleep
I can firmly attest to this that an adequate sleep is essential to have a migraine free day. So it is wise to have at least eight hours of sleep and just basically keep your sleeping habit healthy

Make a Ginger Tea
What you will do is pound a ginger root and then add the ginger root to boiling water. Let it cool for a while and then you can pour yourself a warm soothing ginger tea. Ginger is a natural food source that fights off a number of ailments like migraine.

Take a daily dose of Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
Take this vitamin as a routine part of your life. This is said to be a good vitamin preventer of intense migraine. You can take this vitamin along with the regular vitamins C, iron and the likes.

Put a Cold/Hot Compress
When the throbbing starts and you don’t have anything in the fridge to concoct anything home made then your next option is to primarily ease the pain with either a hot or cold compress. This is a safe go to first aid remedy for any body pain so give it a go, it’s a simple water in an ice pack therapy.

Use steam from essential oils
What you would need to do is to boil a mix of two essential oils like lavander oil and peppermint oil then you would need to place it in a bowl so you can enjoy the aroma by inhaling the steam of the essential oils.
