WILDCARD! Home Remedies for Pimples

STEAM
Steam is a good home remedy to help reduce acne. The steam opens up clogged pores and allows the skin to flush out some impurities like dirt and bacteria that may further agitate the acne causing it to get bigger.

You will need…
-boiling water placed in a bowl
-a towel

Directions
You would need to boil a pot of water then pour it in a large bowl and then place your face above the bowl. Just basically allow the warm steam to come in contact with your face, make sure to drape the towel properly so that you will trap the steam appropriately.

BAKING SODA
Baking soda can be used to heal acne problems, because it can fight off bacteria and can easily dry up the acne, making the inflamed pimple a tad smaller.

You will need..
-baking soda
-water

Directions
You would need to make a thick paste by mixing a tablespoon of baking soda with water. Apply and massage the paste on the affected area for about a minute or so and then just leave it to dry for a few more minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
 
FRUITS
In treating any body maladies, it is always important to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. So, in treating acne, it goes without saying that diet should be integrated to my list of home remedies.  

You will need..
Fruits (lots and lots of it)

Directions
This will help flush out toxins and will additional help you lose some weight. You would need to make sure to eat at least a handful of fruits after every meal and snacks. This will not only help your acne problem but will also help you to maintain a good lifestyle.

EGG WHITES
Egg white mask is another effective home remedy for acne, this mask will help lessen excess skin sebum. Excess sebum is known to cause inflammation in the skin which can get infected. 

You will need…
-two egg whites in a bowl

Directions
Simply apply the egg white mask to the face and just allow the egg white mask to dry out and tighten for about thirty or so minutes. Then properly rinse off the mask with warm water.

GARLIC
Garlic is known to have antibacterial properties. You can opt to eat the cloves of garlic, or mash it and apply it topically to the affected area to help reduce the inflammation of the acne.

You will need…
-two cloves of garlic
-cotton
-water

Directions
Simply mash the garlic that is wrapped in cotton, by pounding it with a blunt object. And then add a teaspoon of water and then voila, you can use the cotton mix to swab your acne, to lessen the swelling and redness.
